Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps Performance in Malta: Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the leading navigation and maps applications on iOS in Malta exhibited varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and revenue. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into each app's trends.

Google Maps maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Starting at around 438 downloads in early July, it experienced fluctuations, peaking at 515 downloads in mid-September before settling at 361 downloads by the end of September.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed an interesting pattern with downloads. It started with 345 downloads in the first week of July, reaching a high of 670 downloads by late August. The app concluded the quarter with approximately 433 downloads.

Google Earth saw a relatively stable download trend with slight variations. The app began the quarter with 103 downloads, reaching a minor peak of 135 in mid-August, and ending with 90 downloads.

TM Alert had a modest revenue stream, starting at $2 per week and peaking at $3 in mid-September. Downloads started at 17 in the first week of July, fluctuating throughout the quarter, and peaking at 62 downloads in mid-September, maintaining this level till the end of the quarter.

Finally, Cybertrak experienced a notable surge in downloads towards the end of the quarter. After a quiet start with just a few downloads weekly, it saw a significant increase, reaching 231 downloads in late September.
